Dr. Jenna graduated in 2011 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry with Summa Cum Laude honors. She did her undergraduate studies in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science at the University of Michigan. Dr. Jenna is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. When she's not working diligently on Eye Love, she enjoys playing with her 2 little boys, exercising, traveling to new places and exploring new cuisines, writing, and peanut butter. Lots and lots of peanut butter.
Dr. Travis graduated in 2010 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry with Magna Cum Laude honors. He also did his undergraduate studies at OSU. Dr. Travis is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a fellow of the Scleral Lens Society, which is given to eye care physicians that have demonstrated excellence in scleral lens fitting. When he's not working on Eye Love or in clinic, he enjoys traveling to Jamaica, training for marathons, and playing the ukulele while he drinks his morning coffee.
We have been actively involved with Volunteers for Optometric Services to Humanity, which is a group that travels worldwide to give eye examinations to people who cannot afford nor obtain such care. We have made trips to Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, and Jamaica.
We started Eye Love in May of 2015 with our ultimate goal being to build permanent clinics in areas that have no access to quality eye care. As active members of Great Shape, Inc, and more specifically the iCARE project, we travel to Jamaica every year to give eye examinations and dispense eyeglasses. With proper help and funding, Great Shape Inc. is working to develop more permanent clinics, and our ultimate goal is to be able to work in those clinics more often.
As a company, we want you to feel good about your purchase and who you do business with. Our passion is to provide a better quality of life through better vision -- locally and globally. Locally we do this by helping you see the clearest that you can. Globally by giving a portion of profits back to someone in need of an eye examination and glasses in Jamaica.

Ashley was born and raised in Oklahoma. She graduated college from Northeastern State University with a Bachelors of Science degree and was pre-optometry. She worked for an Optometrist for 10 plus years, doing just about everything. She has always had a strong passion for eye care. She competed in the Miss America and Miss USA systems, winning several different titles that paid for her college education. Her platform was “Vision: Helping Children See A Brighter Future.” She spoke at many schools about her platform and was also a spokesperson for “Prevent Blindness Oklahoma.” She worked closely with the Lion’s Club and the community to spread the word about vision and eye care.
Ashley married Brian Venable in 2010 and moved to South Carolina in 2014. Brian and Ashley had their first child, Lincoln John, in September of 2015 and their second baby boy in January 2019. She is a proud mama and wife. When Ashley heard about Eye Love and the mission that they have, she knew she wanted to be a part of it. Ashley believes in what Eye Love is doing and is excited to help them grow and expand. She’s glad to be a part of a company that is doing something bigger and better for others. She is thrilled to have joined the Eye Love team in February 2017.
Hi! I'm Heather, your Chief Happiness Officer in Customer Service! I live in Greenville, SC with my husband Adam and our two daughters Maci and Leah . I am originally from Durham, NC; grew up in Youngsville, NC and attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC for my undergraduate degree in Apparel Merchandising.
I love getting in a great workout each day because I love to eat Mexican food, sushi, and indulge in cheese and wine! I am a proud military spouse as my husband so bravely serves in the United States Air Force. We love to travel to see our families and hope to retire to the west coast.
Born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Attended the University of Central Florida (2002- 2005) and Oral Robert University (2005-2007) and played for both Women’s D1 College Soccer Teams. Graduated with a bachelor of science in Mass Media Communications with an emphasis in PR and Advertising from ORU. With over 12 years of working in the advertising industry she has worked for ad agencies small & large, local businesses and sports teams, before finding her new home here with the Eye Love Team.
